MARIACHI USA Foundation

A Foundation for Youth, Education, ...and Pride!

The MARIACHI USA Foundation was created to provide a vehicle with which to nurture the proliferation of Mexican culture through education in music and performing arts in school based programs.

Since 1990 the Foundation has provided over $200,000 in grants for music and vocal instruction and instrument purchases for grammar, middle and high schools in California primarily in the Los Angeles City and County areas but has also extended to Texas and Arizona.

The success stories of the grants program abound with examples of increased academic achievements as well as personal confidence, understanding of cultural diversity, improvement of family relationships, discipline development, responsibility, accountability and the experience ofcommunity involvement.

Each year, the Foundation receives new applications from schools for implementation of Mariachi music programs. It is the Foundation’s goal to continue providing grants to existing programs while assisting in developing new programs throughout California.

We have established an outstanding track-record for effectively and fairly delivering funds directly to schools for Mariachi music programs.
